I will start by saying that show is the most funniest show I have ever seen. Without giving any spoiler I will say that every episode has a theme which they build upon and every episode has something major and jaw-droopingly funny. I really love chaos humour, which this show has in spades. It’s unpredictable, and that’s what makes it the best kind of humour. However, I can understand why some people might not enjoy it.
This show does something different in comparison to other shows where they first plant a main theme of an episode by presenting a problem. Then, without characters becoming inept (which I really love), they genuinely try to solve the problem. This show builds up the chaos, then calms it down, only to set up the next joke and ramp up the comedy. I love how the second episode is titled “The Oner” and the entire episode is filmed in a single take.
I love seeing Bryan Cranston in a genre different from his usual work, like Breaking Bad. This is my first time seeing him in a comedic role, and he’s actually very funny. At first, it seemed like he was still in his usual serious role, which I didn’t like at first. But then he completely switched gears, and every time he was on screen, he stole the show.
Seth Rogen, who both acted and directed this show, has done an amazing job. I’m at a loss for words, so I can’t add anything more. I’d like to add that someone needs to check on Seth Rogen because he’s been hurt so many times, and it’s always funny.
If you’re looking for a show packed with clever, unpredictable chaos and laugh-out-loud moments, this is an easy recommendation. Each episode builds humour around a clear theme without ever making the characters feel incompetent, keeping the comedy sharp and engaging. For anyone who enjoys inventive, high-energy comedy, this show is a must-watch. I will give it 4.75/5 stars.
